Flourish Feeding Babies LLC is In-Network with Aetna plans including Meritain and WebTPA, United plans including Oxford, UMR & NYCE PPO, Cigna (via Wildflower), and AmerihealthNJ.

Out of Network billing available for Imagine360 Plans.

Initial Consultation In Home: $335

Initial TeleHealth Consultation: $225

Follow-up Consultations (In-home): $235

Follow-up Consultations (telehealth): $195

*Multiples will have a $100 added fee for each additional infant with an additional 30 minutes per baby added to the consult time.

** Travel Zones**

We offer in-home lactation visits with no travel fee in Monmouth, Ocean or Middlesex county within an approximate 30 minute drive or less.

If you are located in an area with a 30-40 minute drive drive time one-way, please note a $50 charge will apply. Appointments with a one-way drive time more than a 40 minute drive (but less than 55 minutes) are subject to an $85 in-home convenience fee. This charge is not covered by insurance.

Visits where parking is not readily available, patient will be responsible for parking costs incurred, which will be charged separately and is not covered by insurance.

In-Home Lactation Consultation

Schedule an in-person consultation to gain the tools you need to meet your infant feeding goals and outcomes from the comfort of your own home.

This 90 minute consultation includes a weighted feed with position and latch assessment.  Assessment of the infant oral anatomy and structural assessment of the breast are included.  A plan of care is given to assist in obtaining the desired outcome as well as notes sent to your health care team, including pediatrician and any other relevant team members.   

The advantage of an in- home consultation is you will be in your normal feeding environment, using your chairs & pillows. No need to leave the house or the comfort of your pj’s!

Each consultation includes two weeks of follow-up assistance with your care plan via our secure messaging system.


Prenatal Class

At your convenience and in a personal environment, prepare yourself prior to birth with a prenatal breastfeeding education class. Offered both In-person or Virtually, preparation is key to meeting your infant feeding goals.

Telehealth Lactation Consultation

Via a HIPPA compliant telehealth channel, we are able to accomplish so much using video and conversation. We use these tools to help you accomplish your infant feeding and lactation challenges virtually.

This 90 minute consultation includes positioning and latch assessment.

A plan of care is given to assist in obtaining the desired outcome as well as note sent to your health care team, including pediatrician and any other relevant team members.   

Each consultation includes two weeks of follow-up assistance with your care plan via our secure messaging system.

Health Flex Spending (FSA) cards accepted!!

A superbill is provided for you to send to your insurance company for reimbursement under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and NJ State law.

Key reasons to consider consulting an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC):

  •  Painful Nursing: If you are experiencing nipple pain, soreness, or damage.

  • Latch and Positioning Issues: If your baby is having trouble latching or if you are struggling to find a comfortable feeding position.

  •  Milk Supply Concerns: Assistance with low supply, oversupply, engorgement, or plugged ducts.

  • Baby’s Weight and Health: If your baby is not gaining weight properly, is experiencing jaundice, or is frequently falling asleep at the breast.

  • Baby is not staying awake to take a full feeding or feeding for long lengths (over 45 minutes)

  • Cluster feeding lasting longer than a few days/short intervals between feeds 

  •  Suspected oral dysfunction, like possible tongue tie or lip tie

  • Suspected food intolerance issues

  • Complex Situations: Specialized support for feeding multiples, premature infants, or babies with medical needs.

  • Reflux or spit up that seems more than "just normal baby spit-up"

  • Pumping and Returning to Work: Guidance on pump selection, proper flange sizing, and establishing a milk storage plan TSA guidelines and breastmilk, preparation for travel with breastmilk

  • Prenatal Education: Preparation and education before your baby arrives.
